I just recently read Beowulf and The Three Monsters in it's modern English translation and really enjoyed it! This is the last demon (dragon) that Beowulf fights as an aged king that kills him. Here is the dragon perched upon a cliff ready to attack Beowulf's town. This thing was an absolute pain in the butt to draw! it is all charcoal (except for the signature) and each of those scales that you can probably hardly see were done one by one at the beach! I consider it a sacrifice done souly and lovingly for Elfwood to enjoy! What else are Elfwood artists here for?
