Selith

I think reading the Acorna series when I was younger had more of an impact on me than I thought it had. My fascination with unicorns has only grown over the years. I've been wanting to draw or have a unicorn/human hybrid character for ages. This joint story was my chance. I figure someone like this would have huge medical problems -- a) unicorns are herbivores, but humans are omnivores. This results in a conflict in nutrition. Like any old human vegetarian or vegan, meat, milk, etc. would trigger retching, but the lack of iron and calcium would result in fainting spells and an affinity towards osteoporosis. Therefore, supplement time! Joy!I think I have too much time in my hands figuring out things like these. This is just Selith in a fancy dress because I felt like it; the earlier picture of her, I won't post, because it wasn't exactly what I'd had in mind. Here, she looks as grown-up as I wanted her to be, not to mention aloof and somewhat detached.

Delirium continues, I guess. From a different point of view.

Drowning Man

Hmm . . . I hope this actually makes it through the mods. The narrator amuses me, for some reason. Perhaps more than he should, considering this is only a short story. This was a tribute to a friend who's done a lot for me, and whom I love dearly. This was . . . well, my way of saying thank you. Wow. Amazing. This got Mod's Choice on the 28th of October, 2003. Thanks a lot!

The Memory of Trees

The basic idea was inspired by my friend Rybe and listening to Enya and stuff helped it along as well. Nothing special. And yes, I know she would actually have to be a dryad. But I liked the concept of nymphs being more woodsy creatures than skimpily clad females.
