So, I was trying to experiment with point of view by making this picture look like the view out of one eye (the orange thing with the horn is the viewer's nose -- you know how you can kind of see part of your face when you close one eye and look at your nose... like that). It took 45 minutes to sketch out (two months ago), and I just finished it the other night because I felt like doing something aside from homework or being online.
The bed with the shadows and sunlight looks really nice (dare I say, it's the best part of this drawing). The rest of it looks really flat -- except for part of the floor -- and the angles are all very skewed. (The texture on the viewer's face, and the leg of the dragon opening the curtains was scratched on with my Y-acto knife -- a technique that I learned from my friend, Cori.)
