Gaskal, the Elvin Litchlord, reaches his dark castle haven high in the Morbid Mountains fully 5 days after the fall of his horde, wiped out by the barbarians. His strength and vitality almost gone. Ringing in his ears even now, and all through the long, slow struggle back to Harken Dilj, were the echoes of the victory cry of that berzerker. Wringing his sickly white hands, he let out a weak but terrible cry, "Aaaaaiiiiiiiiihhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeee"!!!! With his last vestiges of strength he dragged himself up the winding, stone stairs to the top of the arms tower. Bursting through the door he stopped to eye his last hope: The Raven's Claw. This magical sword had a soul of its own, possessing the will to slay of its own accord. With this he would cleave the berzerker's head from top to breast; his last cry would not be of victory!
