She has no name, and none would know to call her by one even if she did. She is the one who brings the rain, the thunder, and the lightning. Though she does not create it, she guides it; and she knows what destruction and - at the same time - what salvation her powers bring. Though she is strong, she can be a bit heartless at times. Because not many know she exists she sees herself as a free spirit, and does not bend to anyone else's command. Another of my unicorn characters, though this one is new. And yes, her overly bright eyes and overly long tail give her away as not really being a horse. Of course, she would like you to think she is nothing more than a horse, for it makes her job easier. But if you saw the way she guided the clouds and directed where the lightning is to strike, you would know better. Ack. Her shoulder/neck were really a pain. They still didn't turn out right, but at the moment I'm too happy with the way everything else turned out to be too frustrated with her shoulders and neck, which are what kill me in every equine drawing. I like her head, her eye, and the clouds best. And *gasp* - there's a background! And not just sand or sand dunes or hills, but plants! Took about, eh, somewhere around 5-8 hours. Done in acyrilics. No refs used (except I did look at a pic of a cactus to see what color it should be :P ).
