March of this year (2002), I was recovering from surgery when I painted this picture on 12' x 16' cold-press watercolor block. Fabricated from tube watercolor, I spent my week of recovery painting this picture. Suffice to say, I'm really proud of this particular painting, especially with the luminescence of the moon. Liquid masking was used to leave the moon a pale white as I applied multiple washes of watercolor. Currently, the painting is framed and hung up on a wall behind my desk at work.
