Fall and spring are merely transitions between the chill of winter and the heat of summer. To me the seasons are merely two; winter and summer. While summer reigns winter sleeps and vice versa, leaving them only a few moments of companionship as one slips into sleep and the other drifts awake. This image was meant to personify the seasons as two women, let their relationship be viewed as it will, who will eternally live the melancholy existence of ever being sentenced to sleep as their dear companion is awake. I love spring and fall for they are the bittersweet moments at the edges, the half-awake glimpses of love.
