Requests are indefinitely cancelled. In other words I will not make any until further notice. Art Trades are on hold for the time being.
I occasionally do commissions; I don't plan to make them my profession but email me and I'll see what I can do for you. If you do e-mail, please send a distinguishable subject line as well (maybe "Elfwood" or something); I've been receiving spyware-infested spam so I tend to automatically delete mail with an unfamiliar sender and vague subject line.
Once in a while I might actually post a pic with a background. However, do not get excited, for this is a rare occurance seeing as I despise drawing backgrounds with a passion and lack in the scenic department.
It has recently been brought to my attention that there are some anonymous commenters who have only seen the movie version of Harry Potter. This is all well and good, because when I was introduced to the world of Harry Potter it was through the first movie several years back. From there I moved on to analysing the books and recording character physical descriptions to later assist my art. Now the commenters seem to think that the movie is infallable and thus the actors portraying the characters are canon. That is not the case. If it were, then Dudley would be blonde in the movie, wouldn't he? I also realise that alot of these people have been brainwashed by Cassandra's Claire's fiction novels. She started writing her trilogy before alot of the descriptions appeared in later books. She introduced Blaise as a female before an interview with JK Rowling confirmed that Blaise Zabini is male. So before you challenge my interpretations of a character I suggest you read the books or refresh your general knowledge of them. I tend to come off as bitter, cynical, and rude. You know why? I've been on this site for several years and am STILL amazed at the way people will attempt to flaunt their intellect before looking into to things more carefully. I have grown quite weary of comments pertaining more to a remark in the picture description than the picture itself. Such comments make me think I'm wasting my time uploading here. The lesson? If you wish to leave a comment, stay on the topic of the material in the image (i.e. technique, critiques, content, ect...) and we'll get along just fine. :D IMPORTANT NOTICE: When I draw HP characters, they are not intended to look like the actors; read the above rant to see why. Please do not leave comments saying 'Oh, but this doesn't look like Emma/Dan/Rupert/ect...' I happened to like the uniforms from the movies so those and props are the only real movie references, and even then I've varied the robe designs. AND ON THAT NOTE, please READ the picture descriptions, many artists here DO use those boxes for more than just space filling. I'm not going to be polite anymore to those of you who can't be bothered to READ the picture descriptions. Update 08/15/08:Yes, more angry ranting:Some of you seem to suffer from fits of illiteracy, so let me state on my main profile:LEAVE YOUR SHIPPING BIAS OUT OF THIS GALLERY.Too complicated for you?IF YOU DON'T LIKE NARUSAKU, KEEP YOUR TRAP SHUT. I DON'T CARE. DON'T TELL ME WHAT YOU LIKE BETTER.Additionally, I've noticed an overabundance of ROLEPLAYING going on here:PLEASE DO NOT ROLEPLAY IN THIS GALLERY. COMMENT AS YOURSELF WITH YOUR OWN SCREENNAME AND DON'T PRETEND YOU'RE A NARUTO CHARACTER WHILE IN THIS GALLERY.Not only is it usually OOC anyway, it's also highly annoying and does nothing to contribute to a legitimate discussion. When you roleplay in the comments, it just clutters the page with useless words. Yeah, I'm being very RUDE with this, but I've been putting up with crap on this site since I was thirteen and after a while I get tired of stating things nicely. You're in my domain; respect my rules while you're in it.UPDATEBecause a select group of fans out there can't play nice and like to ruin the fun for others, I'm not longer accepting anonymous comments. I'm sick of the roleplaying and I'm sick of people who don't like this 'ship or characters I draw feeling it necessary to cram it down my throat. If you want to comment, you'll have to sign up for a spectator account and thank the obsessive roleplayers for it.
