Originally drawn for practice with wings. The eagle-guy is actually a new character; he doesn't really have a name or a story (suggestions?), but he'd been stuck in my head for a while, so I'm glad he escaped for a bit. Of course, I do need to do some work on his wings. The character on the bottom was another one from my middle school years. His name was Forger and I thought I would use him as my first coloring exercise, since (in my mind) he had such vibrant reds and yellows. I started on the body and quickly discovered two things: (1) that colored pencils and a pencil outline do not mix and (2) that the set of colored pencils I was using was crap. By the time I got to the wings I had remedied this, and I think they came out quite nicely. I cleaned up his body as best I could by going over with markers.
