woww, I mean WOWWW ^_^, I finally bought a wacom! an intuos2 hurrai!! and this is my first successful attempt using the tablet. ... ~_~`` actually working with a tablet is not that 'natural' like everybody said, it's more like drawing with your hand on the paper while your eyes on somewhere else, it needs sometime to get used to (though it wouldn't be a problem if you buy the 'cintiq' model which is quite pricey), and when I tried to trace my manual sketch, the digital result is simply UGLY! the control feels different from a regular mouse, and the transparent plastic layer on the tablet is to smooth for a real paper feel, so I put a drawing paper on it (much better!). the 1024 pressure sensitivity levels, doesn't feel that great in Photoshop, but it does shine in Painter. ehh the 'comic studio' (one of the bundled software)is very interesting, and it is an english version, (not the original japanese version). oh well, about the picture: manual pencil sketch, tinted in photoshop, colored in painter7, BG is fully done in painter.
