Kyran and Tomoko Battling a Warforged

A few months back when I was in America, my friend Vincent and I played a game of D&D run by my boyfriend. This was the first enemy we encountered, and it nearly killed us... I think it did nearly kill Tomoko, and it was only because Kyran was hiding behind her that he survived at all. Which is nothing like what is happening in this picture, but hey, I had to fight it on my own whilst Tomoko was laying near-dead on the ground! This took... I forget how long. I remember the cobbles took three to four hours, which can be put simply down to my own stupidity, because shading cobbles with a pencil is annoying (to say the least). Kyran (the Drow / Dark Elf)'s pose took about half an hour to an hour to draw because I had to throw myself into it physically to work out how it would look. And the Warforged looks nothing like Wizards of the Coast would like you to believe they look, but it's my picture so it's none of their concern. :) I'm kinda proud of it, mostly because I don't usually have the attention span to do a picture like this. Tomoko is used with full permission and complete copyright to Vincent Stone. The character Kyran and all art is copyrighted to me (natch).

The Meeting

This started out as a random idea that slowly developed into something more. It seems that Dew and Rever's relationship works a little better once taken from high fantasy and transplanted into a modern setting.

Caria's Painting

I actually wrote this as an 'example roleplay' piece for a supernatural-themed board. As I wrote, it turned into this short story (and as it happens, I was also accepted). Modern vampires are a perennial favourite of mine.
