The Nathyre Myth

I did this piece at work during a slow day sometime last year.  It was sketched out in mechanical pencil, then inked in biro and blocked in with a black marker pen.  My co-workers kept commenting that I'd get high after a while.  :PI did the background a short while ago in Photoshop.  I was aiming for a kind of Sudeki-inspired shadow puppet / silhouette style. The basic story is that the Goddess selects her consort, and then catches consort cheating on her.  Thus, she curses him with the body of a snake, immortality and a craving for human flesh. The moral of the story?Never cheat on your girlfriend.(Note: these are not Yuan-Ti.  They're a damn sight more attractive, for a start.)

The Meeting

This started out as a random idea that slowly developed into something more. It seems that Dew and Rever's relationship works a little better once taken from high fantasy and transplanted into a modern setting.

Caria's Painting

I actually wrote this as an 'example roleplay' piece for a supernatural-themed board. As I wrote, it turned into this short story (and as it happens, I was also accepted). Modern vampires are a perennial favourite of mine.
