A large plains predator with the features of both Rhino and Crocodile. While they have an impressive horn their extremely heavy skull prevents them from using it for any other means other than as a battering ram or during ritual mating activities. There prefered method of hunting is by ambush where by they trampling their victim in a short burst of speed or an almost always fatal severing bite. Few have ever seen these usualy slow and ponderouse moving beasts actualy kill live prey, and most witnesse them bullying and scavenging there food from the more successfull (and much smaller) predators of the plains. Possably they prey on the more slothfull desert filter feeder such as the Giant Ekidna-like Yogu, but accounts of this are far and few between. Despite there less than fearsome reputation as bad hunters, many campfire tales have been told of Desert caravans being attacked during the night to warrant at least some fear and respect from the Humanite communities. Of interesting note however, both young males and females of the quadrapedal plains tribes have to draw blood from both sides of the beasts face with there back paws before becoming accepted as adults within the community. Fatalities from this ritual are few. Inked and Painted in Adobe.
