Qraggil stood weary but at gaurd. He knew that this is the way he and his warriors had come. Yet all trace had been removed. the clan thought it was a grand idea to claim the Dwarven ruins as their own. Some sixty odd Broken spear Goblins and a Quivering Palm emmissary had entered the place. Now all that remained was himself and the Quivering Palm monk. He knew the monk stood relaxed next to him. However, he also knew the goblin could explode into a whirling dervish of martial arts death. His own skill with axes had helped them get this far as well. Yet what direction was out? Left or Right? Unnoticed by both weary fighters was the skull next to the pillar on their right side. their only warning by their enemies not to head that direction. The Broken Spear Goblin clan can be claimed as one of the largest clans. Possible even the largest. A complete head count has never been made (except by the clan who takes the heads of the scouts sent to spy on them). Many say the clan actually splits up into smaller clans to protect it from utter destruction by Man, Elf, Dwarf, Orc and other Goblin tribes. By trade they are mercenaries, and by virtue raiders. Unlike so many other clans of Goblins, they repair and maintain their equipment. Apparent a small splinter clan works for the unknown leader that has declared war on Bellgard. Many of a knight has lost his life thinking he faced 'lowly' goblins. In my world there is a clan of goblins called the Quivering Palm. They came about after a Warrior Monk named Darion Sundowner basically beat the living crap out of them. the survivors followed him and watched him practice martial arts. They then developed their own style. During this time the clan changed. they became calmer and more intelligent. They developed their own writing and moral codes. In short they become civilized.
