So this is probably another one that is iffy as to whether it gets approved... This is the same character as the rogue girl in the other picture that might not be fantasy enough... Basically it is a sketch of a character which I just envisioned which could be a RPG character, or a D&D character, or could find its way into one of my stories.. It was kind of inspired by looking at concept art for various video games. This character, in my head anyway, is living in a world of magic users, epic battles, and the slaying of fantastic monsters.. but she is special, (or perhaps cursed) in her world because she is not a magic user. Without spell casting ability, she would be forced to rely on sneakiness and combat skills and perhaps the enchants of others. It seems to me that alot of thought is given to what it would be like to be able to use magic in a world where most cannot, but just as interesting to me is what it would be like to be magically illiterate in a world where most wielded spells easily.Thats the best story I have for her right now, hope its good enough. And I am not sure why she is topless but with her shoulder armor on. The drawing just flowed that way. Maybe the breast plate has to be buckled onto the shoulders to stay up and she's not dressed yet? (Its not drawn that way in the other picture though...) Who knows. This is an expiriment in coloring, I used prismacolor markers and colored pencils. Alot of the brightness and the contouring of the face was lost in the scan though, not sure what I can do about that. The far eye is kind of wrong, I fixed that in the original pencil sketch which I may post as well. I am going to do a new version once I find a flesh colored marker.
