UPDATE (as of 2/6/2012)Heh heh. Wow. I haven't updated this gallery in.....whooo, about 3 years. Wow, I am lame. Well, there is a good reason: I have officially turned to the dark side and started putting up most of my latest art on DeviantArt. As of right now, I still don't have very much put up - and of that which I have, a lot of it is a little outdated. But heck, I'm still updating it, which is more than I can say for my Elfwood account. For reasons of pure nostalgia, I am going to keep my gallery here. I've been a member since I was 13, and at age 19 (wow, I feel old....) I don't intend to change that. Heck, I might even post something here, someday.....maybe. But most likely not.So, for future reference - if you want to see (some of) my latest stuff, you can look me (GerunKnarlson) up on DeviantArt. Some fun stuff to see there, and since I plan on studying illustration in the near future, more is likely to come. As it is, I am very glad to have been a part of Elfwood, as it pushed me to better myself as an artist (and still does!) and helped me realize what I want to do as a career. For those random people who stumbled upon my gallery and actually liked it (or hated it) enough to leave a comment, THANK YOU SO MUCH. For those strangers who are just stumbling into my gallery now ....allow me to introduce myself! My name (as of now) is Gerun Knarlson. I am 19 years old, and am currently an art hobbyist who hopes to become a full-timer someday. I love fantasy and science fiction with a burning passion, and enjoy mixing the two together on frequent occasions. I am also a devoted fan of various graphic novels, including Ristorante Paradiso, Castle Waiting, and Rice Boy (yes, that's a webcomic, too. Go read it! It's free!), which have had a huge impact on my art. I love reading, writing, and (obviously) drawing, and am a hopeless history nerd. And THAT.....is all you need to know, I say. Thanks for seeing my old gallery! Hope you enjoy it.
reading, writing, drawing....that's about it. I also play a mean game of badminton.
I love Avatar: the Last Airbender, T.V-wise. Movie-wise, I like the Golden Compass and Treasure Planet. I have a lot of favorites, so it's hard to pick.
My absolute favorite book is Dune. I also love The House of the Scorpion, a fantasy series by David Eddings that has a name which I currently forget, and (recently) the Sculduggery Pleasant series. Much love!
Am currently looking for good book, preferably of the fantasy/sci-fi variety. Any suggestions?
Muse. All the way. They are my all-time favorite band.
I also love Celtic, folk, some rock, some classic, and some techno. I hate rap.
