A long time ago, far, far away, there lived two young children. They always used to play with each other on sunny afternoons, driving their mothers truly mad with their staying up past nightfall. As they grew older, they fell in love. One day, they were strolling through the forest, hand in hand, when along came a scraggly old witch. "What be you youngsters up to?" She asked in her rough voice. The two didn't know she was a witch, and so answered. "We are strolling together through the woods. Will you please let us pass?" The young man asked politely. The witch took offense. "How dare ye speak like that towards your elders!" And she motioned towards them with her palm up. They grew roots, and they sprouted long limbs, and their feet became stuck together, and their skin became rough, and their hair turned into leaves. Now you can se ethem standing, the two lovers, forever entwined. This is what immediately jumped into my mind when I found this tree. Or really, these two trees. I don't even really have to do anything to it! It's so outlandish by itself! Or, at least, I really hope so. Cuz if not, then nobody will see these two trees... that are awsome... aren't they truly? I believe they are.
