Three piece cast iron sculpture. Base, pair of feet, raven. 57, 1.25, and 29.5 pounds if you're curious. The branch, I believe, is laurel. Scavenged from the dumpster. Just a raven in a sort of defensive, yet slightly menacing pose. I had in mind, while making this piece, Raven, of the Pacific Northwest Native American stories, particularly Raven Steals the Sun. He's lost his sun at this point and is pissy about it. He looks a whole lot menacing in real life than in the pic, mainly cause you can get close and see his glaring eyes. ;) caw.
