This is a two panel mural each approximately seven feet tall and three and a half feet wide. All the knotwork was done over several months, don't ask precisely how many. The knotwork sections running down the left and right edge are altered from a book on the history of knotworking, the small one in the top center is another one that has been enlarged and altered during painting. The birds were inspired by similar ones the Celts had done and the knotwork on them are purely my creation. This project was done by request by mother dearest using oak plywood sheets and house paint. If you wish to have a knotwork painting done, I am willing to do a commission piece, though I likely will not accept a commission for the size of this piece for quite some time due to lack of time to work on it. E-mail me and we'll talk. I'm not travelling anywhere.
