I've had this image in my mind for the longest time and decided to finally let it loose--on paper! What if--on some softly quiet moonlit night--if one is to be really careful and stay hidden--there may be a chance to catch a glimpse of a Unicorn Mom with her chubby baby enjoying the woodland goldfish pond! The lady-in-the-moon shines overhead giving everything around them an almost daylight glow except with a layer of muted blues and lavender greys to soften the colors. One can almost see the cattails in the background swaying in the soft evening breeze! I guess I can say that this is one of my more magical pieces--done on thick acid-free Cotman watercolor paper in ink, watercolor, and a touch of acrylic. Enjoy!
