This was an assignment for my Design for the Theatre class (my final mark was an A, thank you). Our instructions were to design a costume based on our emotional response to a piece of music. I chose The Tea Party's Fire in the Head, from the Edges of Twilight album. I suppose this is a sorcerer type. She seems to have been deposited in the middle of a land of which she has no knowledge, and looks imploringly at the sky, in which a storm is brewing as a result of her powerful magical presence. Her distress is reflected in the weather. Making this image was a spiritual experience for me. Everything just clicked and flowed into place in a way that, to understate matters, doesn't usually happen in relation to school assignments. In the course of your viewing, please note the aforementioned 9x14 scanner problem. There is a lot more to this picture than what you can see. Imagine that it looks about ten times better than it does now. I'm very disappointed in the limitations of my hardware.
