A funny group of vagabonds appeared over the horizon. Some were from the original party of three human siblings and their collective inheritance of farm animals. Even the mouse that normally preyed on their storage of gourmet cheeze decided it was a worthwhile venture and decided to tag along. Others, however, attached themselves to the group along the way. The pumkin man and his children, for instance, were found in a burrow in the back corner of their paddock. The sloth however, had accidently fallen from his tree during their stroll in the forest and was encourage to undertake such strenous excercise under the name of a good rest from rest. The lion, however, had a more interesting tale to tell, the group had discovered it hiding in a children's book under the mysterious name of Narnia. It had decided to take a break from its herioc career and joined the group on their quest for something over the horizon. Perhaps it was a pot of gold at the foot of the rainbow, or perhaps it was to "climb every mountain, ford every stream, follow every rainbow, till find dreams...."---------------------------------------------------------------Done as a way of taking a break from writing about journeys, Coleridge, speeches, and 'the creative force of imagination'Of course, it could not be wholly avoided as the subject matter mysteriously appeared as partaking on such a 'journey to the interior'. Perhaps the biological subjects experienced hard, physical challenges like 'Frost at Midnight' or mayhap it was an invention from the artist while trapped in 'This lime Tree Bower My Prison'. Nonetheless it was fun (and apologies for my attrocious puns on the journey. )Process:-Sketch- 3 hours-Scanned and turned blue with Adobe photoshop-Printed-'inked' with 2B pencil-Rescanned and calculated (to remove the blueness and only have the pencil marks remaining)-Coloured using Adobe Photoshop Whole process probably took about 15 hours or soHave a lovely day, peoples of Earth!
