In these four illustrations, I was trying to convey an iconic action scene that summed up what Harrier (my old Sons of Ether character) stands for in the World of Darkness. Considering how much stereotypical symbolism is used in these four drawings to convey certain moods and motivations efficiently and quickly to the audience, I am still really happy with how much originality and cutting edge these pictures retain. i.e. Have you ever noticed that when you make a picture that's too obvious in its symbolism, the project looks hacked and unoriginal? Likewise, if you draw something that's too original, nobody but you understands what's going on in the picture! Each of these four illustrations had the right balance of the two extremes, and I was happy with how they turned out as four seperate pictures (and as a series).
