The Elusive J has had a deep admiration for the masters of language from an early age, emulating the creativity of Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen, and J.M. Barrie. She has never considered herself much of an artist. However, in a recent emptying of her many storage boxes at her parents' house, it was discovered that she had many boxes worth of fantasy and fanart dating back to her youngest days. It is only recently that she has begun spending a good deal of her time on artwork. She is heavily influenced by many other artists, notably Erté, Arthur Rackham, Brian Froud, Wendy Pini, Trina Schart Hyman, and Zan Gullo.
