Finally got some better shots of this, thanks to my webcam! *loves it* Instant gratification for those of us who can never get film developed. So, this is a 'sketch' done in modeling clay, to help me with different angles/shading on my Wurlythe creatures. That little bit of a muzzle is murder to draw head-on without references! I'm thinking of altering the design of these fellows, to make them less Gelfling-like. I've been playing with different types of ears in sketches... perhaps too superficial of a change. Oh well, I'm fond of them the way they are. For those of you who wonder, the pronunciation rhymes with 'whir-lith' (as in whirligig and lithograph). Wurlythes are my mental real estate, part of a universe and story I have yet to put on paper.
