Amanda Hoffman

Hiya. I'm your webmistress, Amanda J. Hoffman. You, however, may call me Manders-chan... everyone else does. So, you've stumbled upon my library? How fortunate! Now you can read my stories! *ahem* Anyway. Here's a tad about me, Manders-chan. I'm fifteen years old and I've been writing stories and poetry for well, for as long as I can remember. Probably since I learned how to write! ^_^ I have a vivid imagination that allows me to write some pretty wicked fiction stories and some even more wicked poetry. The person that inspires me the most is my 'sister' Meredith Temple (otherwise known as Mer-ka) 'cause she writes some pretty wicked stuff herself. I read her stuff and strive to be as good as her. I'll get there someday! Another thing you should know about me is that I'm really really sarcastic. My stories show that my wit is sarcastic... but it has its perks. Such as in school... *grins evilly but then looks sheepish* Ehe, sorry. Got carried away. Hmm, what else can I tell you about myself? I'm a huge fan of anime but I really don't have the time to watch a whole lot of it... Dragon Ball Z is my favourite (much thanks to Mer-ka for her encouragement to read the fanfics she found on this wonderful anime). I like to draw but I'm not that good; I'll get there, I hope. But anyway! Ok, well, without further adieu: the stories and prose. Updates: 08/16/01 - Added 'Creations of the Masquerade' 08/24/01 - Deleted the two stories (Discovering Love and Heart of Gold) and added three poems (My Phoenix, Child of the Heavens, and Tainted) 08/25/01 - Added two new poems (Silver Star and A Wolf's Night)

A Wolf's Night

Hmmm, this is one of my late night creative bursts. I like the way that it turned out.

Child of the Heavens

The story of my savior and my light.

Another one of my vampy poems. I like the way this one turned out... considering it's dark and disturbing. Like me... MWAHAHAHAH!

Waltz for the Stars

A poem about Destiny and love but mostly about how they go hand in hand in the world.

Song of Rings

This is what I get for listening to Nickelback 'How You Remind Me' numerous times consecutively. Oy... O.o

My Phoenix

The title's self explanatory.

The Muse

The story of the muse that defied me.

The Lady of Alstar

A poem about a Lady dying and her Lord waiting to avenge her death.

Creations of the Masquerade

The Embrace of a human and a vampire. A deliciously romantic thing... even if she did attack him.

Silver Star

Actually, this is just a play on words. I had an idea one night that I should write a parody to 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' and this is what I came up with.
