A travelin' down de road was I. Was a watchin' me feet a walkin' along de path. Clitter, clatter, clapping, tapping. Sounds a reachin' me ears. What's dis I's a thinkin' ta maself. Up I look, jus' down de dirt road and I spots a fairy. She's a dancin' along. She's a clappin' on her instrooment. She's a makin' such a fuss on it, too. Such a wonderfu' fuss, do. For a followin' her footsteppers is da spring flowers, and how beautifu' dey is. An' I sees de snow is a meltin' where she's a steppin'. An' dat smile on her lips. Jus' like she's a been caught. Den I blink, an' she's gone but spring is 'ere. Prismacolor pencils.
