Weyrhauser and Lord Rhoop

For those who haven't read The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (Chronicles of Narnia) there is a part where the adventurers come to an island where dreams, or rather nightmares, come true. A character, Lord Rhoop, had been trapped on the island for 7 years. This is my interpretation of one of the creatures of that island, I call it a Weyrhauser. It's not a dragon, but rather a reptile-bird. I tried to make it distinctly different by adding the talons as opposed to claws, the positioning of the tail, and the lack of forearms. Although this nightmare never appeared in the book, nor have I dreamed of it, I think of it as Lord of Nightmares over the island, and Lord Rhoop begging to be released.

I love this story. What a strange thing. Uhm.. yeah. Help me out on this, it takes place in the future, but should it have futuristic references like dates in it? Or should it just be abstract?

In The Woods

Things I almost remember given flight.

Dreams of Night

I just finished typing this and haven't even proofed it yet but I thought I'd stick it up here anyway because it's a happy story and I so rarely write those.

I Sit and Cry

Inspired by this beautiful silver ring I have with peaches and leaves and the moon on it. Also inspired by the rather earth-shattering thought that my body is capable of bearing children. Can you believe that? In my body! A teeny tiny thing that looks like a fish.. And not just me, every woman on the planet! Isn't that strange?

A Question of Reality

An insane girl accused of murder makes a final choice on her fate. (I'm currently in the process of revising another version of this into a one-act play)
