I am 25 years old and have been drawing since I was twelve. I really apreciated the fantasy genre growing up. Among my favorite fantasy authors have been Terry Brooks, David Eddings, Barbara Hambly, Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, Douglas Adams (Sci-Fi humor not fantasy), J.R.R. Tolkein, and Robert Jordan. When it comes to art morality I used to be against nudity, even for 'the sake of art,' yet my sentiments have changed somewhat over time. I still however feel it a very delicate subject which must be handled with caution and repect. The human body is beautiful. Perhaps God's greatest creation. The sciptures call our bodies temples. We should not defile them nor should we display them in ways unbecoming of temples. Nudity as one artist said should be approached from the way God looks at our bodies and not the way society would portray them-- something in my opinion very difficult to achieve. Further not only is it difficult to achieve, but however pure the artists intentions, he has no gaurantee that his viewer will have the moral strength to look on his nude with something other than lust. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love God. I served for two years as a missionary in Ecuador. I got back in August of 2002. I like to be seen as unique, religous, and overall an intelligent and likeable guy. Currently, I am attending school at Brigham Young University (BYU). I will earn a double-major in art education and painting and drawing. October 15th, 2005 I will marry the girl of my dreams, Carla Mae. note- the pictures displayed here are a number of years old, since I haven't produced any fantasy art in years. I have dedicated myself to other genres. However, if I post something new I will put the date of posting on the picture's description. Thanks.
