I Sing Color (color)

Before I drew and before I wrote, I sang. I have been singing on stage since the age of 3, which is probably why I find myself being involved with music a little differently than most of the people who are in it. A guest conductor came in one day and told us to sing 'red' for a particular song, meaning to sing warmth. This seemed like an incredibly novel idea to everybody else, but I kind of blinked and thought to myself "This song is more of an orange, really." The fact is, whenever I sing, I sing colors and scenes; I try to make the people feel what I feel the piece is about. This concept gave rise to this picture you see here. The proportions are still really bad, but it's the concept that always makes me smile.
