Yes, an update, oh my god! It's January 12th, 2006 at the moment I write this and I have just turned out a few sketches, one fairly decent drawing of Severus Snape. I pardon my lack of enthusiasm for this gallery it's hard to draw "pre done" characters that are in so many people's imaginations out there...we all see them differently and sometimes I wonder how does Rowling see them? Or any author? As an author myself, I feel only I can see my characters crystal clear, so I try my best to describe them with the right words or attempt to sketch them hastily as their images float by my field of vision...   I'm going back by the way, to the way I was....looking at really old drawing sof mine made me look at myself. Lately I have tried so hard to please you all. Forget it! I can't! I"m sick of trying so hard at a style I just can't grasp...so I am going to do the best I can, with what I can. I'm not terribly talented obviously but I have to keep doing what I"m doing because to cease dreaming is to die inside... So, new, Severus Snape, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger (if they are accepted which I hope) done January 11th-12th 2006. Happy New Year and May the Creative Spirit Find you all Well.... BTW, go visit that lovely woman Margot Bongers who comments all over my pages...she is a wondeful person and artist who also re-inspired me. Her art like mine isn't the best, we know that, but we do it anyway because we love fantasy. It doesn't matter what others think but we decide to share...and sometimes they like it and sometimes they don't but if they don't like it they don't have to look at it. I envy her ability to simply portray anything her heart desires...you go Margot! Woo hoo! *hugs* :)
