...best beware my sting! This piece was partially inspired by Shakespeare's play "The Taming of the Shrew", more specifically Kate's line "If I be waspish, best beware my sting!". It was done with graphite pencil, crayola colored pencils, and youthful imagination on some kind of 9"x12" unknown art paper in 1999 when I was about 15. It shows how far I've come doesn't it? In spirit of my old elfwood days I decided to pick one old picture (that I have left that is) to upload here. It's too bad that in my young stupidness I never even thought to save a high resolution copy of every piece I scanned. Oh well. Anyhow, this piece is surviving out of some miracle. I am not even sure why I still have it and why some pest didn't decide to chew on it or pee on it. I have no idea why it is not wrinkled, stained, smudged, destroyed or even sold. Just don't know! It's special, because it survives and I still own it. I will probably never sell it merely for that fact.
