A question suddenly came to me- What if a shape-shifter, in all their countless lives, lost their identity? April 2003 1 1/2 pgs
Free form poem, another random inspiration. And the breaks in the lines; I can't really explain those. I'm sure the formatting is horrible, but somehow, it seems to fit. This shows your typical mage battle...from the point of view of the expendable foot soldier. December 2002 1/2 pg
This is a tale based around the mythology of the Russian firebird. It's not really set in Russia, but who's counting? March 2003 6 pgs
Another dark story...maybe this is all that teen angst stuff I've been hearing about. I had this image in my mind I wanted to draw, but my artistic skills fell far short, so I decided to write it instead. April 2003 1/2 pg
Why ever not? The combination of my two passions. And please excuse the poor journalistic format- html does not lend itself to newspapers. May 2004 1 pg
Hey, looks like I'm participating in the Invincible Empire Project. The Invincibles and all related concepts are used with the full permission of their creator, Bryan Ibeas. Similarly, I give my permission for other participants in the project to use the settings, characters, and other relevant ideas contained in this story. Before the Invincibles could change the world, there had to be a beginning... Part 1 July 2005 7 pgs
This is a little story I wrote, somewhat inspired by 'A Glory of Unicorns' by Bruce Coville, which I recommend to all fantasy lovers. It doesn't really fit into any existing categories, so I did my best classifying it :) The plot's a little...nonexistent, but I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you feel the same while reading it. I got this idea after playing cards for a really long time. The premise is that there is immense power to be harnessed in a simple deck of cards, but only a few can wield this power. This is one small story of one small such person. Update: I have fixed the typos mentioned in the comments, and a few more alterations. Enjoy! June 2003 5 1/2 pgs
More journalism, Hoorah! I got this idea flipping through the posters at Wal-mart. Enjoy. There is some very, very minor language, for anyone who cares. August 2004 4 pgs *Bifrost*
This story is inspired by this picture by Leah Huete. Used with her permission. The picture doesn't strike me as particularly sad, but the story just turned out that way. Also an exercise in dialogue. I need to write something happy for a change... Also, a couple formatting errors that should be fixed shortly. 2003(?) 3 pgs.
An idea I was toying with for a while...This is a little old, but I thought I'd post it here and see if the concept was worth pursuing. Comments would be appreciated! July 2004 2 pgs
Yes, yes, shamelessly blatant allegory. But I was very tired when I wrote this. The ending is too abrupt, and I'm not sure that I'm entirely happy with this story, but I don't really know how to fix it. Hm. My favorite part is the introduction, anyway. February 2004 3 pgs
The beginning framework of my Invincible Rising story...The Winged Goddess' explanation, in her own words.
This story takes place approximately 2-3 generations in the future. I wrote this intending to gradually reveal the woman's 'problem' to the reader- feedback on the effectiveness of this would be greatly appreciated :) This has been sitting around in my folder for a while, but I finally got around to editing it and posting it up here.
