Done in a training (read: excruciatingly boring and pointless) period at work, the original image was done straight in ink with a Biro. I then added the text later on with adobe photoshop. I wish I had taken a bit more time on the text though, as the writing is mediocre. It gives a bit of idea of how he thinks and his opinions of the four others he joins with during the course of my 'Jaeger' fantasy series. A proper background in relation to the story would be somewhat like this: Armon Guntz is a Brodman. A race of squat, broad and resilient folk rather like armadillos. Most Brodmen work as traders and, as such, they are known for their fair, no nonsense attitude towards both goods and customers. Armon is a trader of sorts too. He trades his skill, rather than goods, for coin. He is an experienced mercenary and has made a name for himself in circles both high and low in many countries. He is known to wield a stout, iron bound club for the most part, but recently acquired an experimental 'smoke powder' weapon that can strike with great range and power. A childhood friend and work rival of Wolfgang, the story kicks off fully when Armon meets up with Wolfgang and his tag along, Michelle, and he offers to share a job with them.
