The Two-Faced Idol Pachacamac

Pachacamac, the Idol with two faces, was the coast’s most important god. His temple was visited for his oracles and predictions. He was represented in an 8-foot tall pole. One side is Vichama, the day god, holding the corn and with a feline at his feet; and the other half is Ychma-Pachacamac, the night half, the one with the feather headband and a condor on his arm. I hate how the cat turned out, he looks like a jaguar with a mouse face…
