The Meeting at Placid Lake

This is a picture of Mereb, a beautiful and sort-of nice princess-sorceress lady whose goal in life is either world domination or just living in the lap of luxury with more money than anyone else. Because she fiddled with some of her parents’ documents (peace treaties and such so that they’d get a whole lot more money) she was banished from her home, the great castle in Kanosonia. She can turn into a swan, which is why the swan is next to her. It’s not as if she has a swan companion. The Faery there next to her is basically the only person that’ll talk to her. So, she’s having a quiet chat in the holy Placid Lake with the faery named Aurelia, the only faery that doesn’t think that she’s a lost cause. Aurelia is trying to make Mereb into a better person so that she can use her powers for good. She says something like (ok, I wrote this story 4 years ago and lost the only copy that I had a while back) “Mereb, why would the animal that represents you be a pure white swan if you’re a bad and greedy person? Come on, you can change. Just because your parents are horrible and money-hungry doesn’t mean that you are!” Well, that’s basically it. Oh, I first drew this in pencil, outlined it in a nice new BIC ballpoint pen, erased the lines, colored it in using my esteemèd watercolors and voila! Une Masterpeez! (said with French accent, oui?)
