Well, I don't know how many of you know this, but I spent the summer working out in the wilds of Canada (in the exact place that inspired much of this story). I was suffering from a major case of writer's block for much of the year. As I expected, my summer up north granted me some more morsels of inspiration. Much of the last two chapters was inspired from my summer experience. This is yet another chapter taken from that experience. I do hope you'll feel some compassion for the bear.
Well, I've decided to submit this one in the same ticket as chapter 14 just because these two just felt like they shouldn't be separated. It was another of those chapters that wouldn't let me rest. Oh! Again, the quotation in bold italics is from the bible. Its from first Corinthians 15:55. Its the same one I used in chapter 12.
In this chapter, we go back in time to Arcturus's childhood. From now on, the story pretty much follows this timeframe. Although there are a few flash-backs. Here Arcturus meets the character Glissendel (a woodland fairy)... Just a note, I usually use italics in my writing to show dreams, memories and thoughts.
In this chapter, Glissendel basically brings Arcturus home. Arcturus sees the city of the Woodland fairies and meets Grandfather Glissendel.
This is the prologue for the first story in a series that I'm working on called 'Beyond the World of Reason'. In this prologue, Kuroi Ryuu (a mysterious being at this point) introduces the main character and sets the mood for the story.
This is a pretty long chapter. For the most part its kinda light hearted. At the end, however, that changes
This was a really random piece of poetry that just kind of came to me in the night. Perhaps I'll use it later on in my series of stories.
Hmm... what to say about this chapter. It took forever to write. It was so hard to find the right words. I hope I finally did. The quotation which is in bold italics is from the bible. Its from 1 Corinthians 15: 55. Since this biblical chapter inspired me to write so much of this story, I thought it was fitting for me to include part of it in my text.
