There once was a Queen who was both beautiful and cruel. She heard tales of powerful warrior women who rode the storms with dragons. Jealous and craving the status, she demanded from her husband to provide her with a dragon to tame. The Kings heart was heavey at the request, but he granted her wish. Many of his best knights were dispatched and killed in their quest to force a wild dragon to submission. Until one brave soul managed to kill a dragon female and with the Rod of Submission, he brought back her young. Eager and naive, the queen made to bridle the dragon and break it in like she would a young colt. Alas, she knew not that dragons are tamed by thier own will, and can not be forced. It lashed out and injured the queen gravely. Enraged, she ordered the exicution of the beast. But the king, aware of her crimes against the creature, convinced her to spare its life and have it penned at the end of the gardens. And there the dragon remained, pinned to the earth, its wings folded along its back, mourning the loss of his mother, and his loss of the sky...
