Ithrien & Gwyntorc, their names signifies azalea and white-colared. Ithrien is a Melru (elf) and Gwyntorc is the Afelia he's carrying. Gwyntorc died of trying to save him from a pygmy manticore, when he was about to pluck a night bloom on top of a tropical tree. However, in their first meet-up, it was Ithrien who saved him from a bunch of gremlins, while he was on his scouting duties at the borders of the Woods. Now Gwyntorc had repaid with his life to his savior and master. Ithrien carried him back to his woods and buried him with the full rites of the Melru funeral ritual, and he died not long after. He was buried next to Gwyntorc's mound. A sprinkle of morning dews on their mounds to end the funeral ritual, and white azaleas (left) grew and bloomed on Gwyntorc's mound and Ithrien's Gortentua (top right) and Azimat (bottom right). Here ends the story of a mythical friendship.
