The Lady of Shalott

This was inspired in three ways. One, because a commentor by the name of chemtrooper asked, two, Loreena Mckennit (who also inspired my hightway man) sang the song, and three my new found love, Mucha. Yes, I know it was a poem before it was ever put to music, the poet being Alfred Tannyson. Ive made this one very symbolic, which.. ive never done before. The circular disk in thebackground is like looking in the mirror, The castle in the background is camelot. Water lilies are in those smaller circles as this is the first thing she see as she looks out the window, thread and needle in her hand to show her weaving. I know it said loom but it didn't fit in to the sceme of things, then the mirror itself that she's looking in to and Shalott herself. I really like this one, I'm hoping to colour this soon.
