I consider this one of my favorites and is a handful of originals I kept. The challenge was working in blue monochrome and pearlesque pigment powder. The pigments required a careful addition of clear acrylic which tended to blur any watercolor they touched--ruining precious details. This was overcome by layering segments then applying a fixative spray. However, if the pearlesque pigment was applied incorrectly the airbrush blew it all away! Uggh! Character was a design for my story `The Guild Wars' which, after all these years, still collects dust in the idea pile. Watercolor, colored pencil, acrylic and airbrush 1988
