Drawn August 2003
A samurai wearing an outfit based on those of 13th century Japan. In those days, mounted archery was considered the noble way of fighting a battle. This samurai is making the so called 'Parthian shot', where one would pass alongside an opponent and shoot backwards. In real action a spectacular sight, because the turn and shot are made in one quick movement. I must say drawing a horse is something else, but it was fun to do. The pose of the rider was a pain in the butt though.
