What science and rational minds cannot understand, they first fear, then hide, and finally find a way to use - or misuse.
What happens when you crave bigger and better explosions? Bigger and better apocalypses, of course.
Adele was going to be a character for AD&D, but she kinda took on a life of her own. Because this was originally only going to be a bio of her, I feel I glossed over the early stages a bit too much. Oh well, I'll work on it... Update: I don't think I'll work on this anymore. I've said all the important things, and the rest of her life just isn't story material.
This is a very short story, even for me, but the idea needed no more words than given to express itself.
The stream is real too. The thing in it probably isn't. Probably. Almost makes you wonder if it's such a good idea to walk out late at night.
Just the beginning. I have a whole lot more planned for this story. This part just introduces the three main characters.
One day conversing with Shanra, she showed me the form of a sestina. On a whim I thought I'd give it a go.
This story begins at the climax; this was intentional. It got away from me by the time I got back to the beginning, though; it's funny how where a story begins can completely change what it's about. It did that to me twice, for which I will forgive it, because I quite like it now. This story is licenced under a Creative Commons Licence.
This is a concept story - I had this idea I really wanted to execute, and while it could have been worked around something longer or used to add interest to an existing story, if I had done things that way I wouldn't have finished it.This has a couple of my favourite things in stories in it, which I would really rather see in stories other than mine so I don't have to feel I need to redress the balance by writing them into my stories.
Alright... part 4 is FINALLY done! Don't know what else to say, really. I am a bit disappointed that the first chapter isn't even as long as the prologue, but that's just the way things go.
The second part! I'm pretty sure this is the first time I have ever gotten to the second part of anything. Yay me.Update: I finally got around to fixing the spelling mistakes :)
Just a wierd little story I came up with. Don't be afraid to be harsh with this one - I want to make it really good. Yes that means you can nit-pick about tiny details. update: Thanks to kind comments I have revised this and fixed the problems mentioned. Updated again. Getting there...
Part 3! This is beginning to set a disturbing trend... I might actually write something of length! Anyway... this part is a bit short, but that's because I just decided that everything up 'till now is the prologue, and having the first chapter start halfway through the page would just be too confusing, so I just chopped it here and posted it. Ha! And I spell-checked it this time! :P Well... spell checking doesn't catch everything I guess... fixed it anyway, so there.
A short one, that might have a few flaws in it, due to me not checking it over yet. Since writing it I've also realised it can have a few different interpretations, so I'd be interested to hear what any who read this think (as well as constructive criticism, which is always welcome).
This was going to be my submission for NaNoWriMo this year, but it finished before it got long enough, so here it is. I haven't editing it yet, but I don't know if I can be bothered.
I'm sure I have a happy story around here somewhere... oh wait! This is it! Well, close enough, anyway.
A man searches the earth for what he believes is his one true love. Will he find her? And if he does, will she have him?
This is to be the first installment in a series of stories about Soma.
