The Hunted Picture: While divergent of my more placid themes, “The Hunted” seeks to show the darkest side of humor and to demonstrate the best method of using an entire ebony pencil on one picture. I like the use of dark colors and sharp contrast as is made evident. I have received much criticism concerning the cutting of the elfin girl’s head in half. I still stand by my own decision to cut her head in half. Story: Death waits for no one and works at all hours. This night death comes for Katja the Drow, in her house as she sleeps. Unfortunately for Death, the Drow are not so easily silenced. Katja observes his entrance and silently moves behind him for the kill. “Who will come for you this cold night?!” she says as she plunges the silver dagger into the dark cloth enveloped intruder. Details: Entire ebony pencil on white drawing paper and colored with Adobe Photoshop.
