Deep in the Forbbinden Oceans, there was a creature called the Sea Wispherer. Though he traveled with the hippocampus, he was not of them. The sea-horses were kind to the ancient wanderer, but never truely accepted him. Ageless he was, with no beginning nor end. He sang wispered stories of those on land, in the skies, and on things called mountains, to any sea creature who would listen and comprehend. He knew thousands of stories, and was never without a new one. He was often caught singing on the sea-side cliffs, talking to the constellations in the stars, as if they were old friends of his. And whose to say they weren't? As time past, the old generation of those in the sea passed and a new was formed. This generation called Sea Wispherer a prattling old fool. They didn't listen to his stories, nor cared about his lessons. They didn't know he was their guardian spirit. He left them. Not because he was cruel, but becuase he thought it best, that the generations should learn something for a change, instead of depending on him. He still wanders through the seas, though his charges are now in hidding. Sometimes, if you are lucky, you might just see the bewhiskered, old Sea Wispherer singing at the sea-cliffs, gazing up at the star-filled sky.. - Ancient Merfolk Tale, orgin unknown, roughly translated version I love how this picture came out! Old Sea Wispherer could have never come out better. I need to figure out what Sea Wispherer is translated into though... Prt'Filda-something or another Kor'pik, I think..
