This rather long poem is a school assignment from a year or so ago. We had to write something descriptive. This is what I imagine my perfect, secret garden being like. It is in the middle, or the heart of a magical forest. It's kind of a safe haven for magical beings as well as me. Kind of a romantic place, as well as peaceful.
When I was in one of my darker moods. I'll not go into the details. But this is one way I express myself. NO, this is not a religious poem, and this is not how I truly believe. It was just the way I felt. The angel in the poem is, as the title says, a fallen angel. The reason seems voluntary, but is vague. She justs wants to please the one she loves. In this case, her creator, God. Somewhat of an emotional poem, at least to me. I think I'll leave the rest to you.
This poem is also a prolog to another possible story. Or, I might just leave it the way it is. I don't know yet. This is also the place where I think the portal to the other realm would exist, if it did. In a place protected and hidden by lots of ancient magic. Not as long as some of my others. Enjoy.
Just a prolog to a possible story in my head. It seems a bit choppy, I'll probably tweek it later. But I like the way it sounds and some of the images. I hope you enjoy it.
I have tried so many times to get this one up, but my computer was/is being stupid! >:( Grr. Anyway, this poem was created when I heard the song from Dance Dance Revolution, 'Butterfly'. The song is, supposedly sung by a girl who wants to be, or is (o.0), a butterfly. This one was also an English assignment. One of my more...interesting poems. Organized chaos might work to describe it. Have fun reading.
This poem was inspired by the song 'Crash and Burn' by Savage Garden. I love that song. Everyone has a guardian, whether it be an angel or something else. This person keeps us sane when it is so tempting to go crazy. This poem is not religious, more spiritual and hopeful. Enjoy.
