This past semester at college found me in a Design class. In this class, we did several assignment in relation to the different elements of design, one of which was scale. Basically, we had to take a subject and alter its size to draw attention to it. I brought several concepts to the teacher for possible works, most of which she nixed. One concept I approached her with consisted of a knight charging up a hill at a rather large chameleon. She shot this idea down stating that, because the picture was fantasy based, people who might not be familiar with chameleons might not realized that there was a size change; thinking that that's what the dragon's supposed to look like. Well, I went back and pleaded my case asking if I might use it if I substituted the chameleon with a more recognizable lizard, like say, an iguana. She agreed, adding the suggestion that I make it a horny toad, since we're located in Texas. As you can see, I went with her idea. And I'm glad I did too; this guy is way more menacing than any chameleon!
