Second Year, OCAD in Media Studio with Chan Harvey I've misunderstood the project directions but I've made a good image. The class used a unfamiliar technique for it, with gouache and ink. You draw an image in pencil on a thick illustration board first, then paint with washable white gouache over areas that you don't want the ink to touch and let it dry. Brush on the ink (in this case indian black) and when everything dry, run water on the image, brushing away the gouache. That's the general idea. You can try variations to this after some practice.
