There was Noldorin scholar from the glorious city of Tirion, back in the days of Aman, his name was Rúmil. He was the first to devise a writing system for his language and wrote many religious works. His most famous was the world-creation myth Ainulindale ('Great music of the Ainur') after his communication with them.
This picture drawn in pencil tries to give out the solitary-concentrating atmosphere of the supposedly Rúmil's room in Tirion. I paid attention to his vertical Rúmilean writing system, which is shown on the paper he is writing on.
Note : sigh... in the time i was drawing this, I was thinking that Rúmil was a Vanya (fair haired). Recently I learned that he is a Noldo (dark haired)! Oh well!
