I have a story for this young woman, but I won't tell it all here. Basically, she's a soldier in some army in a fictional world of mine, where magic and different people like elves and centaurs exist. Only a few people know she's a woman, because she is afraid of getting limited options if people know who she is. Therefore she has to wear full armour and helmet at any time when she's around other soldiers, and she never talk. Yet, she's got a high position in the army, and is well known for her skills in battle and strategy. And why did she join the army? Well, it includes her newphew-less uncle, him showing off in front of his buddies, lots of beer and a very stupid bet. She doesn't blame him, though... She will later unite the different people of this world, but at the moment, she's just enjoying a calm moment with her horse and eagle-friend. I used watercolour pencils on A4-paper to make this picture, and I probably spent, err... 14 hours, maybe? I'm very aware of the fact that I cannot draw backgrounds at all - I suspect everything that has to do with backgrounds to hold personal grudges against me, for some reason... If you wondered about the helmet; it's supposed to hang on the hilt of the sword. Sooo, I guess there's nothing more to say. Enjoy! Completed August 2008.
